Playback Singer Shobika Murukesan who has sung for 10+ films in Tamil and Telugu has rendered a lovely folk duet  titled - 'Karisakaatula' along with Singer Velmurugan for an upcoming tamil movie named Thuval .

Thuval movie has won 40+ International Film festivals and it is about to get released in theatres on November 22. This film's music is composed by Padmasathish, directed by Rajavel Krishna under the banner Sieger Pictures.

Shobika started her singing journey when she was 4. She has done a Masters degree in Carnatic Music , Grade 8 Rock and Pop vocals from Trinity College London. She is also a dubbing artist for heroines and Lyricist in Tamil films. She started her playback singing career in 2016.

 

Being a full-time Musician from Chennai she teaches Indian Music to students from several countries.

 

Being a Hipi Artist, she has posted various cover songs and won several campaigns.
